We specialize in the Next Generation Sequencing data analysis. Owing to our extensive and automated IT resources, we are able to present results of any scale – from minor targeted sequencing to whole genome sequencing. Below you will find the areas that we focus on.

DNA analysis

DNA analysis

DNA analysis is used in the services most easily associated with genetics, such as prenatal or paternity tests. DNA analysis is also the basis of various genetic targeted sequencing, i.e. testing to detect the presence of specific, known genetic mutations that can cause certain disorders.

Bioidea offers a wide range of services connected with DNA data analysis – from mapping onto a specific referential sequence and finding variants and rare mutations, to advanced analyses of sequence motifs, de novo analyses, comparative and trio analyses.

RNA analysis

RNA analysis

RNA analyses can find their use in the fields of medicine (testing the impact of various external factors on the gene expression), pharmacology (developing medicines) or in finding new possibilities of genetically modifying organisms, in order to introduce new characteristics.

We are experienced both in working with raw data (mapping reads onto a chosen reference or assemblying de novo transcriptomes), as well as the later analyses of transcriptome and gene expression that supplies us with information about correct and incorrect cell processes.

Metagenomics

Metagenomics

Recent scientific findings pertaining to the impact of certain bacteria on human health have led to a significant increase of our interest in microorganisms. However, metagenomics finds it use also in industries (sewage treatment, bioreactors) and pharmacology (probiotics).

At Bioidea, we have our proprietary software suite BioMeta16S, enabling the identification of microbiome sample composition with extraordinary accuracy. Additionally, we perform biodiversity analyses and analyses of microbiome composition over time.
