At Bioidea, we support the work of enterprises, institutes and individual clients by providing high-quality results of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data analyses. We offer a wide range of services from the fields of genomics and proteomics, including functional, structural and comparative analyses, as well as individually customized analyses.

We have extensive IT background and proprietary software built on the basis of scientifically acclaimed algorithms and libraries. We integrate our databases with prominent sources of medical, biological and genetic data. We combine bioinformatic experience with IT expertise.

NGS - Next Generation Sequencing

Next Generation Sequencing is a method used to read the information encrypted in the DNA/RNA that has revolutionized the world of genetics. Poland is keeping up with the trend – with the use of NGS, our scientists are overcoming barriers and reaching new heights. In the first half of 2017, 50 new scientific papers by Polish authors had been published. These are dealing with the use of NGS in environmental and diagnostic microbiology, human genetics, expression of genes, etc. One can easily conclude that it is a method of the future opening new possibilities.

NGS experiment stages

NGS technology consists of three stages: laboratory stage, sequencing and bioinformatic analysis. Bioidea specializes in the last one: We analyze the raw data produced by the sequencing supplier in order to shape them into final reports.

Agata Młodzińska

Biology, Genetics

A graduate of the Wrocław University of Technology Faculty of Chemistry (2012) in the specialization of pharmaceutical biotechnology. During her studies, she completed the "The Clinical Diagnosis" laboratory course. In the years 2012-2015 she completed doctoral studies at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology at the Faculty of Computer Science in the specialization of Bioinformatics. During her doctoral studies, she participated in a 3-month scientific internship at the Laboratory of Bioinformatics and Protein Engineering at the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology in Warsaw.

Since 2012, she has also gained experience in leading commercial diagnostic centers using NGS technology. He is an expert in the field of bioinformatic analysis of NGS sequencing results and the use of biological, diagnostic and bioinformatic databases. Has a good knowledge of molecular techniques used in both diagnostics and experimental research.

Szymon Młodziński

IT

A graduate of the Electronics Department of the Military University of Technology, specializing in Teleinformation Systems and postgraduate studies "Designing information systems" at the Warsaw University of Technology.

For over 12 years, he has been designing and producing software for clients from many industries, including transport, insurance and services.

At Bioidea he is responsible for IT infrastructure and process automation.
