DNA variable number tandem repeat detection (VNTR)

VNTRs are the tandem fragments that occur adjacently to one another, forming a string of nucleotide repeats. The tandem fragments with their length of base pairs from 2 to 5 are referred to as microsatellites, while motifs with their length of 6 to about 100 base pairs are called minisatellites.

Our offer includes VNTR analysis comprised of:

  • microsatellite detection;
  • minisatellite detection;
  • determining the statistical relevance of the VNTR frequency rate;
  • determining the functional relevance of the VNTR occurrence;
  • annotation to the information in databases.
