DNA and protein sequence motifs analysis

DNA sequence motifs are nucleotide or amino acid sequences forming a common pattern that often bears biological significance. Finding motifs within a group of sequences allows us to exhibit a shared biological function. A shared function may be connected with protein binding site, splicing site when searching for a sequence motif in DNA or enzyme active site when searching for a shared motif in amino acid sequences of related proteins.

Our offer includes DNA sequence motif analysis comprised of:

  • searching for shared sequence motifs based on nucleotide or amino acid sequence groups;
  • determining the statistical relevance of detected patterns;
  • searching for a biological function of a detected pattern;
  • annotation to the information in databases.
